Obstructed Balcony

What does obstructed balcony mean??? :confused:

 

I was assigned E208 on the Coral Princess. Does the steel come down at an angle there which would partially block it????

 

Does anyone have a picture??

According to the deck plans, the cabin forward of yours is an oceanview so it comes all the way out to the outermost (ocean) edge of your balcony. That would definitely mean that you cannot see forward.

So, I'm curious how was this balcony? I'm considering the same cabin.

On the page with photos you can see that the superstructure comes down at an angle partially across this balcony, thus it is considered an "obstructed view" balcony. It appears to be the same with the forwardmost balcony cabin on the Dolphin deck.

yes it did have the bulkhead coming down at an angle. but the view was still amazing!!! We had a nice protected corner and a nice open corner. I'd do an obstructed again any time!
