Has anyone taken a tour that included the George Inlet Lodge in Ketchikan? We are looking at the "Wilderness Exploration & Crab Feast" offered by HAL. Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :D

We did this tour in July off the Golden Princess and had a great time. The feast included the best dungeoness crab I have ever eaten and it was all you can eat. The boat ride on Geroge Inlet was great- We saw had porpoises swimming with the boat- and saw bald eagles and harbor seals. It was a wonderful morning!!!

We went in 2005 from the HAL Ryndam and loved it. We also saw lots of bald eagles, our first in Alaska, and that alone made our day!!!

The crabs were delicious and the serving staff at George Inlet put on a good show and kept things entertaining---plenty to eat!!!

You should enjoy this trip!!!:)
