Help with Hotel

 Couple of questions..(1) Is priceline where you bid in advance and don't know the name of the hotel until after you have booked? (2) Can you cancel or is it non-refundable, paid in advance? I have 8 family members and need 1-night pre-cruise hotel (must be CLEAN) in San Juan for June 2009. Any advice?

I booked the Marriott Stellars for June 09. It has great reviews, but is not cheap! I got a Gov, discount , with that I am still paying $280.00 a nite. Booked directly through Marriott!

Once you bid on priceline, you can not cancel if they meet your bid!

I am also looking for Hotel recommendations... Has anyone stayed at the Caribe Hilton. Saw they were on the beach and had pretty good ratings. $169/night on expedia.

Wasn't sure if it was worth staying on the beach or if downtown was better?

Thanks :)

Jessie
