Noordam cabin VD4047 questions

Anyone stay in this cabin or one near it? Have question about any noise from elevators located by it. Also any noise from deck below?

We have stayed in rooms close to the elevators before and have never had a problem. I dont think you will be bothered by any noise. Plus it makes it nice to be close to getting up and down when you need to.

We were in 4043 and a friend was in 4045 on the Zuiderdam. I don't did recall hearing much - once in a while maybe a faint 'ding'. I am a light sleeper and it never bothered me. 4043 is closer to the elevators than 4045 which is closer that 4047. I don't recall hearing anything form below either. We liked those cabins so much we booked it again for the Eurodam next February.

 

FYI The balconies are larger than the ones on the decks above it, so it is a bit exposed but that wasn't an issue.
