I have booked a cruise on the Regal to Alaska for May 8 a balcony room. Someone has told me its a waste of money the balconies on the Regal are so small, that only one person can be out there at a time, and the door takes up so much room. Has anyone found this to be true. Thanks Teresa

Not true. The door does open outward, so it can be awkward accessing the balcony, but there’s plenty of room for two.

We have sailed the Regal 3 times and the balcony's are fine. The stateroom is larger than on most of the newer ships. We just got off of the Constellation and our balcony cabin was fine though not as large as the Regal.
