movinout Posted September 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2008 With all the storms out there now, there's a good chance our NCL Sky/Bahama itinerary will be changed. Can anyone tell me, when changes like this happen, do the cruise lines scramble and still offer tours at the new location or do you fend for yourselves when off the ship? Thanks! Wanderlust26 Posted September 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2008 Actually, I’m just asking myself the same question. Several hours ago I received notice of an itinerary change to my much-anticipated Pearl/Panama Canal cruise. The changes are fine with me, but I do wonder if NCL will reschedule the excursions that I booked with them automatically? Does anyone have any experience with this? I checked the NCL site but it does not contain any new information as yet. I should add, that the changes are not weather related.
Wanderlust26 Posted September 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 3, 2008 It looks like I had the answer right in front of me. For cancelled ports all shore excursions will be automatically cancelled. Shore excursion information for new port will be available on board. My understanding is that the times have been adjusted for pre-booked excursions in all other ports. Credit of $50 per person / maximum $100 per stateroom Cheers
