teacher2cruiser Posted September 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2008 I know I read this a while back, but I want confirmation please. Are there robes in ALL Carnival cabins? We'll be oceanview on the Holiday and balcony on the Glory!
terri910 Posted September 8, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2008 Every time we've had an Ocean View stateroom on a Carnival ship, there have been two robes waiting there for us. The last time this was asked, it seems like Carnival is putting them in ALL the staterooms....but I'm not sure if that is on every ship.
Cotton Posted September 8, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 8, 2008 I usually book a two-porthole cabin. Until my last two cruises on the Holiday, there were no robes...now they have them in those cabins. I know the OV and balcony rooms DO have them. Enjoy my favorite ship. I've had five wonderful cruises on the Holiday!
choclitsnda Posted September 8, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 8, 2008 If the robes are not in cabin by the time you settle in on the 1st night, ask your cabin steward.
Tgreene Posted September 8, 2008 #5 Share Posted September 8, 2008 Does one have to pay to use the robe? For the cleaning fee? Or can you simply use one and then place it back down after... I know in some hotels, there is a fee to use the robe
Dee777 Posted September 8, 2008 #6 Share Posted September 8, 2008 We had robes on the Valor in our balcony cabin, and were not charged anything to use them.
Ehpride Posted September 8, 2008 #7 Share Posted September 8, 2008 Robes are free for you to use. We've had them in inside cabins so you should have them. If they aren't in there when you board, ask your room steward. Also if you have more than 2 people in a cabin, you may have ask for the extra robes. Mr.Clean Posted September 8, 2008 #8 Share Posted September 8, 2008 I certainly hope these robes are washed well after each cruise. There were some mystery stains on the one of them on our last cruise, so it did not get used.
ray98 Posted September 9, 2008 #9 Share Posted September 9, 2008 Had 2 in my 5a on the Inspiration this week.

I know in some hotels, there is a fee to use the robe  Really? I've never stayed in any hotel where there was a fee to use a robe!? The last night of the cruise, I put my robe in a stack w/the used towels.
Donna - dsw Posted September 9, 2008 #11 Share Posted September 9, 2008 Have always used the robes - they are great - - if you are not happy with the robe you have - ask your room stewart to bring you a clean one. We even have worn them to the hot tubs at night!
Giggles2007 Posted September 10, 2008 #12 Share Posted September 10, 2008 So far the cruises I have been on have had robes in the closets. I also love them. At night when I am making a lido deck trip for ice cream, I just throw my robe on over my jammies and go. I also used it when I take my little cat naps on my balcony. It makes me feel so cozy. Funny, but on my list of things that I am looking forward to, robes have definitly made the list!
EastTexans2 Posted September 10, 2008 #13 Share Posted September 10, 2008 The robes are also one of the things I look forward to. They are so cozy. After our last cruise DH asked if I wanted to buy one to have at home. I told him it just would not be the same. It's something special to look forward to on the cruise.
