ktpc2005 Posted September 25, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2008 I was looking at cruises for next February so the DW and I can take one during the school's winter break. I had looked at a 4 day cruise for this past summer but we had things come up. The usual 4 day itin has a stop in Nassau, Freeport, and the private island. For 4 cruises Feb 16th, March 2nd, MArch 16th, and MArch 30th, NCL substitutes Grand Bahamas for a day at sea. Does anyone know why this is? We are not big sea day people, so I may look at other itineraries.

Richie2pies Posted September 25, 2008 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2008 I'm going 10/6 with NO stop at Grand Bahama, yet the fees and taxes are the same as the cruises that DID stop. I called and was told "that's just the way it is." Nobody could answer why.
airlinerob Posted September 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2008 You're not missing much. That was my least favorite port.
