StLucia Posted October 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Can anyone tell me if bath robes are provided in balcony cabins? Also are there plenty of hangers, trying to cut down on weight!

Janet, No bathrobes are not provided in balcony cabins, I think only suite get them. Regards hangers don't worry there are plenty but if there are not enough for you then just ask your cabin steward and he will provide more. No need for the extra weight. WINDSONG2 Posted October 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Hi, Just returned from a super two week cruise on Ventura in balcony cabin. No bathrobes. Large wooden hangers with bar across are provided in wardrobe, and extras from cabin steward are wire ones. I take my own skirt/trouser hangers so they can be hung full length, not folded across the hanger bar. Have a lovely cruise. Wish we were coming with you. StLucia Posted October 5, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Thank you for your responses. Shame about the bathrobes, if I ask the steward do you think he might let us have some?
LEESRE Posted October 5, 2008 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2008 I think Janet that will be a no, usually they say you can buy them from the shop. But you can try. Rex
millyontoast Posted October 5, 2008 #6 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Hi St Lucia, I think it depends what cabin you book because we had a balcony cabin on D deck and we had robes but I think they are more like mini-suites on that deck.

macalifrog Posted January 12, 2009 #9 Share Posted January 12, 2009 We had bathrobes on D Deck (Deck 9) and they were lovely - plently of hangers in our hanging space and more than ample storage etc.too. Our cabin steward was lovely - from Goa - I think 90% of the staff were Indian - so I practiced my pigeon Hindi which went down well - maybe you should learn a few words in advance - might help??? Namaste - Nam ast the - hello Shukria - shoe cre aa - thank you Up Kesser He - aup kesser Hei - how are you?? (reply is tikka) You never know? StLucia Posted January 13, 2009 Author #10 Share Posted January 13, 2009 As Rex said before our cruise, only in suites. But a fabulous cruise none the less. Spent very special time on our lovely balcony and with our wonderful cc roll call friends. Janet
