Room safe on Monarch?

Recommended Posts

You're getting that from not having safes in the cabins?

Monarch is NOT the Mariner. And as my friend Celia said, Mariner is NOT the Monarch. You might want to go to the thread titled "All Things Monarch of the Seas" and read up.

You might also go to RCI's website to get her vital statistics. She was built in 1991, so yes, she's "really old" by current standards, although she's still not old enough to vote.;)

Wow!This must really be an old ship.We usually cruise on the Mariner.Hope it is not as bad as it appears.Love the Mariner!!

If you cruise Monarch with the expectation that it will be bad, or spend the whole cruise comparing that ship to the Mariner then you're more than likely not going to have an enjoyable cruise.

There's really no comparison between the Monarch and the Mariner in terms of cabin size, amenities etc. What I can tell you is if you go with an open mind you're bound to have a great time. The Monarch has a very loyal following and a fantastic crew and couldn't be better for a short getaway... Enjoy!
