Sheraton OSJ and priceline

I wanted to book the Sheraton OSJ on priceline, but I want to bid to get a cheaper price. I have never done this, and the way I understand this is that if I bid then there is a chance I might get another hotel in the area that accepts my offer and then that is the hotel I am stuck with. Is this true or is there a way I can bid on one certain hotel instead of by the area of puerto rico, and how do I do it?

You're correct. There is really no way to pick exactly which hotel you want on Priceline. You can only narrow it down based on the star level of the hotel and the area/neighborhood, so you're taking a chance if you have your heart set on the Sheraton. Once your bid is accepted on Priceline you're stuck with it because they charge your credit card right away. Hope this helps.
