We Need Info Re Car Rental Orlando To Fort Lauderdale Don't Mind $30 Drop Off Charges But Dailey Rate Is Very High We Are Looking Between Xmas And New Years. Should We Be Looking A Off Air Port Sites Are They Usually Cheaper? Tried A Few Sites But Wouldn't Let Me Put In One Way Rental. Any Advice Welcomed.

It is generally cheaper to rent from an off airport site as you will not be charged the airport taxes and fees, drop off shouldn't matter.

 

It seems car rental prices have gone up no matter when or where. :(

The airport locations are generally more expensive but they are the only ones (that I know of) that will allow you to do what you are looking to do. Prices are traditionally high during the time-span that you are looking for.
