Carnival Dream combo deal 11/13&11/15

I noticed that Carnival has added a 2 day cruise to nowhere on the Carnival Dream out of NY on 11/13/09. I have already booked the 8 day starting 11/15.

 

Has anyone asked Carnival yet if we can get a deal better than the posted rates on the 2 day to combine the 2 trips? I would love to extend the trip the extra 2 days, but it seems excessive to spend another $500 pp for a balcony rate for the 2 days since I would want to keep the same room.
