Christmas decorations on cruise

Will Glory have Christmas Decorations out Nov. 15 cruise or do they wait till after Thanksgiving? Would be nice to set the season off on the cruise.

They certainly begin decorating before Thanksgiving. Not sure how long before or how much might be done.

One year we got off the ship on Nov. 3rd, and they started decorating that morning. The next cruise would have been decorated.

A few cruises ago, I got off the ship the end of the first week of November. They were just beginning Christmas decorating that morning; boxes all over the place. You'll be delighted to know that, I'm sure.:)

We did a Thanksgiving cruise on the Sensation last year, it was decorated for Christams already. This year we're on the Splendor the week of Christams can't wait to see the decorations on it.;)

How long do the decorations stay up after Christmas? Have a cruise planned for the 3rd of January, it would be great if they keep them up that long, but I doubt it.

I guess that means our November 30, 2008 cruise will be decorated - never really thought about till I read this thread - cool I guess. I did not really want to think about Christmas until after my cruise but no such luck huh lol! Oh well maybe that will get me thinking nd I will buy some gifts on board or in ports.

On the Inspiration, we embarked on Jan. 2 and the Christmas decorations were still up. I think they might have started taking them down toward the end of the cruise, but there were still some up when we left.

I was just thinking about this, I used to be in the casino industry out here in Vegas, so holidays were a no-no for me, now I am free of that industry I am thinking a Christmas cruise may be a good thing.

We boarded the Voyager Of The Seas 01-06-2008 in Galveston and they were taking the Christmas Decorations down as we boarded. Didn't see the tree so they must have taken it down before they arrived in Galveston

I made a rule last year that I wouldn't do anything Christmas before Thanksgiving was over and it nearly killed me! haha

I was on the Glory last Year same time/ week. They had a huge tree and all the railings were decorated. with garland and wreaths. They had a gingerbread village on display. It was very nice! Enjoy your cruise.
