Merion_Mom Posted November 2, 2008 #26 Share Posted November 2, 2008 Any bar tenders out there know if tonic is a fountain drink? I know it comes in bottles but still trying to figure out if I can order tonic with the soda card?? The "soda card" covers FOUNTAIN sodas. Tonic doesn't come out of "the gun" at the bars - it only comes in bottles, as you stated. Therefore it is NOT covered by the soda card. The "gun" dispenses Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and plain soda water/seltzer.
ysq Posted November 2, 2008 #27 Share Posted November 2, 2008 For a while mycokerewards.com was offering soda cards as one of their rewards for redeeming points on their site. I just used one on my cruise last week. I see mycokerewards.com is not currently offering it as a prize, but they may put it back on from time to time. The mycokesreward.com website sends the card to you in the mail (it only took a little over a week for me to receive it in the mail). I see a few people are selling them on ebay. Chelly Posted November 2, 2008 #28 Share Posted November 2, 2008 So, if you just want seltzer water, you do need a soda card, right?
bruce-r Posted November 2, 2008 #29 Share Posted November 2, 2008 So, if you just want seltzer water, you do need a soda card, right? Well, no. Not unless you plan on drinking a LOT of it. You can buy any soda, including soda water, by the glass.
HRHPrinceJim Posted November 3, 2008 #30 Share Posted November 3, 2008 $2.24 :D :p :D :p :D If you're going to Mexico, pick up some sodas at the grocery store in port and take them back to the ship. After the conversion from pesos, they're about 60 cents each. ;)
