What's the most you've won in the casino?

Recommended Posts

We'll be on the AOS in 10 days, and want to know how lucky you've been in the casino?:p

My wife hit the jackpot for $500 in July on a nickel machine when we were on the Legend of the Seas in the Med and one of our friends won the slots tourney for $250. In 10 cruises thats the first time she had won a large amount though and it was about mid cruise.

I can't speak for the slots, but after an up and down week, I walked away w/ about $200 once from the blackjack tables. There was an 18-yr old kid who was there every night with his parents that ended up winning around $2000 over the week!

Yeah I was going to say the same thing..... I recall hearing something over the tannoy one night about someone scooping something on the Deal or No Deal machines..... there should be prizes for coming 2nd not just for winning ;)

my mil won the slot tourney on eos = 500

my friend won slot tourney on another cruise = 750

and on a ccl cruise the cashier told me a guy won the 200k jackpot on some blazing 777's machine 15 minutes before i came into the casino.....lol..... so i missed that one!

we spend several hours a night in the casino while on a cruise- "winner" sightings are not as common as the rest of us with the big L on our foreheads....lol

My DH won enough playing roulette to pay our "walkoff" in Cash AND put some towards our next cruise. .. and I had a bunch of spa treatments, bottles of wine, purchases . . . :D

about $2300!

Every time I would walk by him I would say "hand over all your winnings for me to hold" and gave him $50 bucks to continue. Otherwise he would have kept playing until he lost it all . ... that's what they are counting on! the hard thing is to know when to walk away . . . .

Good Luck . . .

Our friends won $10,000 on the last night at closing time....she was going to cash out but decided to quickly play the credits and hit the jackpot on the last pull.

this was on princess.....don't know how Rc does it but they gave him all $10,000 in cash to walk off the ship with anf fly home...he was worried about the airport, security, customs, etc. I would think they could give some kind of check.

Two weeks ago on AOS, my husband won about $1300 for the week playing roulette which has the absolute worst odds for players! He usually breaks about even for a week. I, on the other hand, always quit if I lose $20. Amazingly, sometimes I can play 2-3 hours before I lose. And a few times I have won small amounts. It's a sucker game, but darn it, it's fun!

We have won 1000usd twice on the slots...but get this...on a Holland America Cruise to Hawaii I was winning pretty constantly , and therefore noticed WELL the amount that I was give based on the weight of the coins when turned the money in....one evening after winning a few small times...I won about 350usd...and laughed and took a photo...when I went to turn in the money to the cashier, it rung up LESS than it had on previous LIGHTER coin winnings....and so what I did...as the casino manager had passed us when we were taking a photo of me winning, I looked at my digital camera...and zoomed in to see what the coin count was on the machine...what it had showed I won...showed that to the manager..and they paid me in full.

But suspected a conspiracy!!! Because exactly what happened????

This is an example of why going to "no coin out" in the casino is a good idea that works. Less chance for error. Congrats on your wins, though!

Mariner of Seas

August

First night

quarter slot machine

Sizzling 7777777777

3 quarters a pull if you chose to

but you could take the value up more if you chose

I did, I doubled it so for $1.50 a pull

Won 500 dollars after a couple spins

Paid by attendent

Left Casino quickly money in hand.

Went back another day, only lost money

When the cruise was over between me and my husband (on black jack) we were a couple hundred ahead.

I was afraid to go back thinking I would lose my money.

Later
