mmpadp Posted November 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2008 We will be cruising Jan 25th through Jan. 31st., and are cuising newbies. We plan to park at Port Everglades but I have a few questions about parking availability. Are parking spots plentiful at Port Everglades? Do I need to arrive early to get a spot? Do they take credit cards? (I've heard rumors that some port parking lots only take cash).

Information on parking at the cruise port can be found at http://www.broward.org/port/cruise_passengerinfo_parking.htm basically, it is $15/day max for your stay. There is plenty of parking available. If you want to save a little money, try http://www.pnfnetwork.com/ They are located just off the port, offer a shuttle to and from the ship, and are a little cheaper. Several cruise lines offer discounts, I don't know if Carnival is one. I have parked here three times and had no problems. Carnival's page on Port Everglades http://www.carnival.com/cms/FAQs/Cruise_Ship_Terminals_Parking__Directions_PORT_EVERGLADES__Ft_Lauderdale.aspx Rich
