shawn&angie Posted November 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2008 Which Pier or address would the Summit sail out of in February 2009? Thank you!
rainforestgirl Posted November 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 17, 2008 The Celebrity will be docked for embarkation at the Pan Am piers. This is on the other side of the harbor, a short taxi ride away from OSJ.
Coqui2007 Posted November 17, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2008 This map will help you work out where the pier is in relation to Old San Juan - http://*****.com/san-juan-cruiseship-piers Note: taxi rates are fixed based on starting and ending zones and should be about $13.50 from the pier to OSJ have fun

gaylensgigi Posted November 21, 2008 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2008 Is there a website that tells you what ships are at what pier? We are planning a SC cruise, but need to know this in advace to look for hotels. Thanks

Thanks Yes, here it is: http://www.continentalshipping.com/ (I wouldn't base hotel choice on it though since all hotels are fairly close to all the piers. The only hotel within walking distance is the Sheraton to the piers in OSJ)
wrp96 Posted November 21, 2008 #7 Share Posted November 21, 2008 General rule for cruises out of San Juan, Carnival uses Pier 4 in Old San Juan. All the rest use Pan Am Pier (Princess sometimes uses Pier 4 but this year is scheduled for Pan Am). Best advice though is to book a hotel near what you want to do/see in San Juan and not worry about being close to the pier.
