royandjenn Posted November 23, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2008 Hi, I was looking for some private tours in st lucia, and came across Sea Spray Cruises. It has some very awesome boats, and some were used in Pirates of the Caribbean. Does anyone know if they do these tours for cruise ships? Has anyone booked thru them? We are in St Lucia from 8-5. Thanks! Any info would be great, haven't rec'd email back from them yet!
Rare Tak8 Posted November 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2008 I believe they do offer the excursions through the cruise line. I'm not sure if it is this particular company. We were on Princess 3 years ago and did a Pirate ship excursion and the description mentioned it was used in the movie. The ship was excellent. People could take turns steering the boat. My son enjoyed it. If you want to do it through the cruiseline, check out your shore excursions. A fun time.
siestakim Posted November 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 26, 2008 We were in St. Lucia in May(2008) and did the pirate tour. Yes the boat was used in the movie and its a fun time for all ages. They fire the cannons and take you on a nice tour. You stop at a beach where they have a scavenger hunt. They give you clues and you have to find keys. Once back on board you check to see if your key opens the treasure chest to win some prizes. I'll include a few links to some pics... http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q94/siestakim/m_add7e21234e113948781f7c1935ad92b.jpg This is a pic of the boat http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q94/siestakim/m_39a23a7c5c333b11cce6a74e3cb9200c.jpg This is the hubby seeing if he won the treasure http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q94/siestakim/m_98d80c20c9642e7a7c4f1132f1394335.jpg And this is one of the guys on the boat. He was an extra in the movie and he also makes his own rum. For $20.00 a bottle you can buy it. But be warned, its Strong stuff!
