johnmik1 Posted December 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2008 Finally got our room B742. It is the last one on the aft of the ship. Anyone been in a balcony around this one? We have stayed in C743 and the balcony was a little bit longer than the others.Nothing to make a big difference.Nice cabin location.
Sandytoes Posted December 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2008 We stayed in B743. Excellent cabin. Plenty of storage space. Nice size balcony. You'll feel the movement of the ship. A slight rocky motion. Nothing to be concerned about. Great location since your near the rear elevators. Take that straight up to the Horizon Court or pool area. Take it down and your near the Club Fushion and Dining Rooms. Hope this helps. Enjoy your Cruise. :)
GLCAS Posted December 5, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted December 5, 2008 Thanks for the info. We are really getting excited to leave in 5 days. :D I was wondering about being the last balcony in the aft, will we be able to see aft like the wrap around right beside us? How much will we feel the movement of the ship? We have always been mid ship.
Sandytoes Posted December 5, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 5, 2008 There is a cabin right next to your cabin that is angled. Do you see the square box? What I didn't like about that last end cabin was we could see in. Lucky, they couldn't see us. :p We always book mid-ship which has less movement. If I had a choice it would be either rear or mid-ship. I doubt I would book a forward cabin again. Too much of a walk to the Horizon Court. :o
GLCAS Posted December 5, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted December 5, 2008 Sandytoes, They say that there is room for two lounger chairs on the deck. Is this true? Are they that big?
Sandytoes Posted December 5, 2008 #7 Share Posted December 5, 2008 Balcony is average size. Room for only two chairs and table. But decent.

MustangGT Posted December 5, 2008 #9 Share Posted December 5, 2008 We were in B742 on the CB in March. We loved it! It's very quiet being at the 'end of the line' and our balcony was completely covered. The balcony does not wrap around - we had a solid wall next to our balcony. It's not a very large balcony, as someone mentioned - 2 chairs and a table with not much more room. We ordered the Champagne Balcony Breakfast and had no where to go with all the trays of food! The location is great for heading up to the Lido deck! Have a great cruise!
vulcan500 Posted December 5, 2008 #10 Share Posted December 5, 2008 Help! I'm in Caribe 254. I hear it has a larger balcony and is toward the front of the ship. It's classified BB tho' I have no idea what that means. Can anyone fill me in? Is it a good location?
LuvTheGoodLife Posted December 5, 2008 #11 Share Posted December 5, 2008 Vulcan Your Caribe deck balcony will be sized 9 ft wide x 9 ft deep and will have ceiling cover over the first 5 ft. You will overlook the open balconies on Dolphin deck below. Category BB just refers to the class of cabin - forward and aft balcony cabins on Caribe are rated BB. Mid-ship balcony cabins on Caribe are rated BA. Other BB category balconies are located on other decks but Caribe deck balconies are desireable because the balcony is larger at 9 x 9. Other decks have balconies which are only 9 x 5. Hope this helps. Enjoy your cruise!
