Mauizach Posted December 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2008 We are booked into 4062 on the Eurodam next June out of Copenhagen. Can anyone give me some feedback as to the view out that window? I understand about blocked views, but was looking for information on the size of the window and does it have any view or is it fully blocked... JenSDCA Posted December 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2008 It looks to me like you'll have sunlight but no view. 4062 is a catagory HH which is fully obstructed. When I look at a photo of the ship, it seems that you'll be behind the structure that is between lifeboats. But at least you'll have sunlight!! Oh, and HAL's website doesn't even show a floorplan for HH's, so I can't say how big your window will be. Maybe I can go do some research, say a 7 day research trip??? (Sorry, I'm in serious withdrawal right now)
RuthC Posted December 13, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2008 I once had that same category cabin on the Noordam. There was plenty of light! I could see sky; don't remember if there was a glimpse of water. The windows are wall to wall and floor to ceiling. Outside there was a catwalk, making it look like a small veranda. Just no door! For this customary cave-dweller, it was a great cabin.
