Santos ?

Anyone been to Santos? Is there a town to wander around near the port? ( with shops)

If you do find any information please let us know. I read in Fodors about Sao Paulo and it does not sound very appealing. We are considering Guaruja.

I have never been there but what I have read sounds like it is just a popular beach resort.

What is in Guaruja , Steve? How far from Santos etc?

Claudia,
I don't think there is much there. All I can find is that it is a beach resort and there is an aquarium. I looked on mapquest and it could be only about 5 miles IF there is a bridge. If not maybe 30 miles.
