Pub Crawl?

Excessive drinking is different than excessive bingo. We just don't go to bingo or art auctions. Bingo and art auction attendees don't detract from our cruise, but drunken pub crawlers would. (Now if the pub crawl included an "art" overboard contest. Or, since nothing is to be thrown overboard, if the crawl was through the "art"...)

I agree that excessively drunken pub crawlers would certainly distract from any atmosphere. A few jovial ones, not at all, but what was described by the OP certainly would.

There was a pub crawl on our Oosterdam cruise last month. We did not participate.

Good call! I'm not a fan of bingo, so I'll be sure to cancel my 3 upcoming cruises right now... :rolleyes:

I agree if a guest embarasses themselves shame on them, but hey that's them. My issue was more with the fact that it was HAL staff who selected that gem of a toast as the winning toast representing our Pub Crawl. Why encourage it?

 

I agree with you. Not my cup of tea, much more carnival than HAL
