South America Cruise Question

It's always a good idea to prepare for windy and cool weather as you cruise south of Buenos Aires and Valparaiso. We recommend taking a jacket, sweater and/or fleece, hat and gloves and to plan to layer your clothes for the cooler/windy weather.

The other factor to keep in mind is that the weather in this area changes rapidly so one hour it can be less windy/cool and the next hour quite windy making it feel much more cooler.

Got back from BA this morning after cruising there from San Francisco. Everything south of Ecuador was cooler than expected. BA was warm and pretty much perfect temp. It rained for 20 minutes or so 2nd day. Falklands and Ushuaia cold and windy. Chile, chilly. Bring layers.
