Hello,

We are looking to do the Pirate Ship in Puerto Vallarta, but we do not dock till 10am and looking through here, the Pirate Ship leaves at 9am so we would miss that, has anyone taken the trip direct through Princess? We need a day one because of a 4yr old and 14 yr old, and thought it would be fun for the kids and adults. Any suggestions would be great! Thank you:D

Yes, we did the Pirate Ship off of the Sapphire - the Pirate Ship is on the SAME dock as the Sapphire - only had to walk a bit and there you were. If the Cruise Line is offering this - they will make sure you get onboard the Pirate Ship before she sails. Just make sure you get off the ship when told to. It will be on your documents. Enjoy - you will have a great time!!:)

Sapphire is the only ship that ports in Vallarta on most Tuesdays. Local tour operators often deplay the start of their tour to accommodate the late arrival of that single ship this is especially true if the tour operator is under contract with the cruise industry.

We had our Tuesday sailing tour delayed last Noveber to meet the needs of the passengers arriving aboard Sapphire.

The normal departure for the pirate ship excursion is 9 Am. If Sapphire is selling the excursion for your sailing, the pirate ship will set sail after your ship's arrival.

Enjoy!
