Room Access time on AOS??

This June will be our first time on AOS. Generally with Princess you can arrive on board at 1205 pm and access your room immediately. I am confused as I have seen mention of room access after 2pm? Can someone please let me know if you really must wait till after 2 to put your items in your room? :o

Usually at 1pm, although it can be as late as 2pm :rolleyes:

We've sailed on the Serenade and the Mariner and have always been able to get into our stateroom at 1. We usually board around 11:30, go to the Windjammer for lunch and have our suits in our carry-on bag to change into after lunch.
