walkie talkie two-way radio

Recommended Posts

does anyone have any advice on these things? i had some one time and threw them in the trash when i got home from my cruise. i figure some work better than others but with not sure which ones to look at.

When they are not abused and misused by the kids, the two-ways are very helpful during a cruise. I use the Cobras and they work fine. The stronger the range (15-20 miles), the more certain that they will work on any part of of the ship and near the ship when in port.

Forget the Dect phones that they rent on the ship. Save your money and get some nice Midland Walkie Talkies. We have the LXT440's and they work just fine and they're not very expensive. Have never had any trouble with them.

Can't believe someone said "Who wants to lug them around" ... folks, it's like having a cell phone on your belt.
