What port does Gem use in NY

Hi

 

We have booked the 13 night cruise from Barcelona to NY in Nov 2009. Does anyone know what port we will be docking at? I would like to stay another day in new york to see some of the sites before flying home to san francisco and am trying to determine which ones we will be closest to.

NCL uses the Manhattan Cruise Terminal located at 55th St and 12th Avenue. You can check out their web site at the following link:

You may want to look for a hotel on the NJ side of the Hudson. Price will be significantly less expensive and if you can fly out of Newark back to SF (Continental probably flies direct) you will have an easier ride to the airport. There is ferry/water taxi service between Manhattan and various locations on the NJ side (Jersey City/Hoboken) as well as the PATH train.
