Number for Avis in Skagway?

Does anyone have this? I got 907 983 2247 from the website and an Avis rep in the UK but the number won't go through...

 

I can get through to the Juneau office but they have an answering machine so can anybody here help me?

 

I only want to price a People Carrier/Minivan type thing for our stop in Skagway. Sourdough has given me a quote so I would like to compare.

My reservation there has the same telephone number but it says that this particular office is only open May 8, 2009 through September 17, 2009 which may be why you can't get through.

As has been said, the Skagway office isn't open in the winter. The Anchorage office determines what vehicles will be sent to Skagway each season. http://www.avisalaska.com

What rental rates have you been given? We are trying to decide if we are going to rent a car or take the train ride while in Skagway.
