room above dining room bad? (carnival spirit 8a)

They're cheaper just because they're on the lowest deck that has balcony cabins.

 

Carnival used to price all cabins in one category on one deck the same. Several months ago, they recategorized the cabins to make the midship cabins a higher category, hence a higher price.

 

I would think a balcony over the dining room would be great. Bear in mind that there is a outside promenade on the deck below, so there will be people out on deck, so your cabin will be partially over a public deck (it's quiet, but there could be smokers out there after dinner), and partially over the dining room.

 

Actually, I'm going to be in 4230 (aft) in December on Miracle. I'm expecting it to be wonderful!
