i wonder if someone could help with this info. how much would a taxi cost to MIA from port everglades. in comparison how much would a princess transfer cost? thank you for any info.

I think the price for a cab is about $60 and the transfer are about $25. Alternatively, you could take a cab to the Tri-Rail train for $10 and then take the train to MIA airport. The Tri-Rail is $3, but it can run late at times.

thanks . that looks an easy cheaper way to go. we arent in a hurry as we only have to go to mia to pick up hire car for an extra week in miami.

I hear that if you REALLY want to cut down the costs, you can take public transport (buses) to the Tri-rail station.... It might cost you only $5, but it will take you a while because you will need to walk to the bus station and then transfer to get to the tri-rail.

with 3 suitcases i think the taxi is a good idea. i am english but we can stretch to a taxi lol.

Could you not pick up the car in FLL and drop it off in MIA? I am doing that with no extra charge.

now you would think that would be an easy thing to do. but i cant cancel or change the booking without paying a 50 pound cancellation fee.so transfer it has to be.

Hi there...When we came into and out of Miami for our cruise on the Emerald Princess we used the services of SAS Transportation, owner Steve. The fee was per person $15 (in November) with a minimum of 4 people or $45 for only 2. Arriving in Miami at 5:30AM (yes AM) they were there waiting for us and off the ship they were there again waiting outside the baggage area and took us to the airport.
