DSLR, Memory Cards, & xray machines

My husband let me purchase the canon rebel xsi before christmas. I was wondering if letting my laptop, the camera, and memory cards go through the xray machines at the airports will hurt any of it. I have never flown with any of this before and i dont want any of it ruined. Thanks in advance

I've had no problems so far

and I've put several digi-cams thru security machines -with cards in place

- never had any problems, and that's both airport scanners and the ones on cruise ships

You will have NO problems, even though x-rays are high energy and go thru all that materila they will do nothing to the cards nor the data stored in them or on computers.
