Look2Sea Posted February 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Wondering about RCI bus transfer from Seward to Anchorage Airport. I booked bus transfer through RCI. Cost is $79 per person 150pm flight from Anchorage Airport, so not enough time to take the train. I am planning cruise for a young couple. Even though $79 per person cost might be high, I thought that it would be easier for the couple to do transfer through RCI than doing it on their own with an independent vendor. I do not want them to have any glitches getting to the airport, and my thought was that RCI would be reliable and the couple would be provided with clear instructions. Any thoughts or feedback? Rancher Dave Posted February 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2009 There is little room for error between the port and airport due to the great distance. I'd agree the RCI transfer is probably best. When we go we will either go via RCI or have my Sis In Law drive us down there as we will spend a day or two with them ahead of the cruise. They live in South Anchorage. It may be though just as easy to have a ride back to the RCI pick-up spot and ride the bus the way down.
