We always book a guarantee room. The best upgrade was from a 1A upper and lower on the Riviera deck to the Empress deck. Don't even know what category. We were extremely happy!

 

For our cruise on the Freedom next week we had booked a guarantee 4A were upgraded to a 5B on the Main and saw a price drop and called Carnival for a OBC and they weren't giving any and now are in a 4f? on the Verandah deck.

 

We did go from an inside 4A to an obstructed view. These are probably the best 3 upgrades, most others were just one category, and one we didn't get an upgrade at all.

 

We like playing the gambling game and just see where we end up. As long as it's on the ship...we're happy.:p

got a 6b from a 5a last week. Cruise is in a month. Carnival called travelocity and they called me. Sweet!
