Familyforce6 Posted February 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2009 Is there anywhere to rent a jet ski at Half Moon Cay? If so does anyone know an approximate price? I believe it's called Aqua Trax under the excursions. It will cost us $70.00 a person. Experience Half Moon Cay from the seat of your own Aqua Trax watercraft. On this excursion you will: Take a short tram ride and arrive at the safety briefing area and have time to get acquainted with your personal sit-on watercraft. Have your guide lead you, single file, along the picturesque shoreline of the island. Navigate around the natural reef formations, inlets, islands and sand pits before stopping for a cool drink. Learn about the history of the island and the Arawak Indians, the first settlers to the area. Finally test your watercraft skills as you maneuver around a buoyed course. Note: Minimum age is 16 years and maximum weight is 375 lbs. Total time on watercraft is approximately 30 minutes. Guests must present a valid drivers license. One person per watercraft only. Wear your swimsuit and bring your towel. Personal items can be left at the watersport center or kept in the dry storage on the watercraft. Bottle of water is included. This is extremely limited. Many of the shore excursions and watersport rentals on Half Moon Cay require that you sign a waiver release form administered by the Tour Operator. Please obtain a copy of this waiver from the Shore Excursion Desk onboard your ship to expedite the process for yourself and your fellow guests. Hockey Addict Posted March 2, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2009 We did the Aqua Trax... we booked the last group. There are only 5 jet ski's.... It is suppose to be a guided tour... which you go single file following the tour guide in the lagoon. THEN he took us right out to the ocean and told us to have fun... stay where he could see us and DO NOT GO NEAR THE SHIP!!!! Then on the way back we did single file again... follow the leader... and he had us weaving like crazy. The funny part was the kayaker's left from the same spot as us... when we were done and coming back we saw the kayaker's paddel'ing back as we were running full blast weaving around... I wonder if they were annoyed with us?? :D It was a lot of fun!!!
