Aplmac Posted March 9, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2009 You gotta watch where you walk no matter where you are. True indeed ..but surely it can't be that difficult to temporarily stick an empty 55 gal. oil drum in the aperture until the Ministry of Public Works gets the new concrete casting finished or until the replacement cast-iron fitting arrives from UK or wherever. Good grief -the local Ministry here on Barbados uses 55 gal. drums to keep pedestrians out of sidewalk and other chasms What's up, over there?? - -Does anyone care? -
Antiguan Posted March 9, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2009 why is it that apple mac from barbados is on this antigua forum adding opinion every time there is a bit of bad news about antigua? I saw many people ask you a similar question about this before. I'm glad that our government permits reporters to write articles like the one above. Shame the press coverage in Barbados isn't as free when it comes to tourist related issues. http://www.ottawacitizen.com/news/Bajan%20media%20ignores%20attack%20women/1368249/story.html

I was recently at both islands, and while I liked them both, I prefered Antigua. I would retun to Antigua before Barbados any day! This island is so beautiful and it looked very clean and well kept.
