Any place offer free phone calls home?

Anybody know of a place that offers free phone calls home? We'll be away from our little girl (will be 20 months old at the time) and it's going to kill me not to hear her little voice!!

 

If not a free phone call, we have Verizon-- anyone know if you get reception here?

I don't know of any free places to call but was told the best and cheapest way is to purchase a calling card from the port you are in and use a pay phone. They say that the pay phones in the dock areas are the safest (you obviously don't want to use a phone in a back alley). Make sure you only buy a small amount card since you will likely only be able to use it in that port. I am in the same boat and plan on calling out 2 kids from Cozumel and Grand Cayman (was told these are the cheapest to call the US, usually only $5-$10 for a 20-30 minute card (better that the $6-$9 per minute from your cell).
