Debbie&Chaz Posted March 16, 2009 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2009 What is served at the Terrace Grill on the S class ships? Last summer on Zaandam we only had hamburgers, hot dogs, a little pizza, and the large "taco bar." The HAL website list multiple burgers, wraps and paninnies(SP?) - along with smoothies and shakes. We will be on the Ryndam this summer in Alaska and were wondering what we could expect from the Terrace Grill.
Atomica Posted March 16, 2009 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2009 It's been a while, but on the Veendam we had the usual suspects - hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, and tacos. Never seen wraps or pannini's, but I am intrigued!
Nutrioso Posted March 16, 2009 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2009 They make smoothies at the Lido Bar, which is close to the Terrace Grill - just on the other side of the pool - but you have to pay for them. As for the food, I have only seen burgers, brats, dogs, tacos and fries. ----Penny
DizzyDallasDi Posted March 16, 2009 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2009 I really liked the turkey burgers at the Terrace Grill. They're juicy and very flavorful. Diane
TCF Posted March 16, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2009 We had beef and turkey burgers...chicken breast....hot dogs made with brats, Italian Sausage, smokies and one other I think, (different sausage each day not all of them every day)....fries. Then there was the taco bar with all kinds of stuff...but all added up to a taco! Or you could make a chili dog with your hot dog if you wanted! No drinks....no desserts. RuthC Posted March 16, 2009 #6 Share Posted March 16, 2009 The wraps and panninis are at the sandwich bar inside. The sandwich bar is open later than the main, hot foods, serving line. Thankfully! I hardly ever make it to lunch by the time that line closes.
