cruisecrazymama Posted March 19, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2009 IF, Allure follows the same pattern as Oasis, bookings would open around August. She's expected to go into service late 2010.

Tagsalong Posted March 19, 2009 #9 Share Posted March 19, 2009 Keel has been said and almost all steel cut. Reference below article if it doesn't get obliterated by CC policies. http://yle.fi/uutiset/news/2009/01/layoff_talks_at_stx_europe_turku_shipyard_482306.html

novalab Posted March 24, 2009 #13 Share Posted March 24, 2009 I was told that Capt. Johnny from the Mariner will be Allure's captain. I also heard that he will be joining up with his new ship late this summer to oversee & become familiar with her from the ground (keel) up. This info was told to me over a month ago & for the life of me, I can't remember who told it to me..or where I read about it. It may have been a post here on CC.
