jgmpuma Posted April 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2009 Is there a restriction on the size of the one bottle of wine allowed by Carnival? We have found very good buys on wine in 1.5 liter bottles, but don't want it confiscated.

Have that page handy in case they give you chit.
guru66 Posted April 8, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2009 we have successfully walked on the ship w/ 2 bottles each of champagne and wine every cruise we have been on so yes 1.5 liter bottles will be fine as they don't enforce wine that much unless you try to walk on w/ a case it might be an issue

The odds of anyone caring are close to zero, but you can carry the Cruise contract with your 1.5L bottle. ken
Bozo Posted April 8, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 8, 2009 My cruise contract says 2 bottles of wine allowed leaving 5/30/
Ken076 Posted April 8, 2009 #7 Share Posted April 8, 2009 My cruise contract says 2 bottles of wine allowed leaving 5/30/09 the historical wording is something like "1 bottle wine/champagne per adult passenger". Just out of curiosity, is this the wording in the copy that Carnival sent you? Doesn't really matter, as they pretty much allow anything reasonable. Have a good May sailing!!!!!! ken

LUPY48 Posted April 9, 2009 #9 Share Posted April 9, 2009 In Feb, aboard the Miracle, we each brought the 1.5 liter bottles. And a bottle of champagne, all in open view. They gave us a bit of a hassle re: the champagne (due to the fact that is was a third bottle) but we whined and they let us through.
