closest place to buy beer in Cruz Bay, St. John?

We're looking to stop somewhere and pick up a six-pack before we take the Lind Trail over to Honeymoon and/or Saloman Beach. Is there a convenience store close to the ferry dock?

There are a couple. When you get off the ferry you can ask one of the taxi drivers or just walk over to one of the little shops right by the dock area and ask them to point you in the direction of the grocery store. Then you can pick up what you need head over to the National Park visitor center pick up a trail map and look at their displays. There is a restroom in that area if you need one. And then the Lind Point trail starts right behind the Visitor Center. No amenities along the trail or at Soloman or Honeymoon Beaches. If you go as far as Caneel Bay there are restrooms and food/drink there.

The Captain's Corner/Sparky's store is directly across the park and the sidewalk in front of it takes you to the road that leads to the Visitors' Center. It's right next to the Texas Coast Cafe. They sell beer, snacks, and St John souvenirs.
