clueless2 Posted April 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2009 We are leaving on the Caribbean Princess on 6/29. Since this is a Monday we are flying to NYC on Saturday to see a few sites. We are staying at the Lexington Radisson, which I understand is midtown. So we'll need to get from our hotel to the cruise terminal in Brooklyn on Monday morning. What would be the best way to do this - taxi?? Arrange a car in advance? (There will just be 2 of us). Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also what time would you recommend leaving to get to the cruise terminal by 1ish? We just planned on taking a taxi from LGA to the hotel. By the way, this is our first time in New York so any other suggestions would also be appreciated.

Just have the directions with you(take the FDR Drive to the Brooklyn Bridge go straight ahead to Atlantic Avenue(7 lights) make a right on Atlantic Avenue go under the highway and make a left. At the third light make a right and follow that around to the Entrance to the cruise terminal. The entrance is at Imlay and Bowne Streets) actually the cruise terminal is right behind the exit of the Brooklyn Battery tunnel in Brooklyn but this way misses the $5.00 toll. the other way is to call Arecibo about noon and have them come and get you for the same 30 dollars or so 7187836465. Almost any other way will cost you more. If you do it through the hotel they will get there cut. It should take you no more than 1/2 hour once you are in the car. Suggestions. Take the staten island ferry past the Statue of Liberty. see the Museum of the American Indian at the Battery. Go to Macy's....
