spcl4cs_gal Posted April 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Can someone let me know how many formal nights are included on the Gems of the Baltic cruise (10 days)? Thanks.
Mary Ellen Posted April 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2009 I 'think' we had three last year. I have NO doubt that if I'm not correct and it was only two, someone will speak up. ;)
jtl513 Posted April 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Usually there's 3 on a 10-day, but sometimes one gets omitted.
HALFans Posted April 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2009 In almost all cases - a 10 day cruise will have 3 formal nights.
spcl4cs_gal Posted April 25, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Thanks everyone for your replies. Just trying to think of how to pack without having any excess baggage charges coming my way.
Mary Ellen Posted April 25, 2009 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2009 I don't know which airline you are using from Canada, but for the US airlines, the free allowance is 2 50-lb checked bags per person on international flights - and any domestic legs to get to/from the international flight(s). We did 23-days on the E'dam last summer and were WELL under our allowed checked baggage.
spcl4cs_gal Posted April 25, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted April 25, 2009 I'm flying to Frankfurt on Air Canada and would have no trouble with luggage on that leg. I'm on SAS from Frankfurt to Copenhagen going over and then SAS from Copenhagen to London coming back. I always have one large suitcase to check and a smaller carry on so maybe I'll be fine.
