SCUBA gear

Recommended Posts

I'm debating bringing my own gear on my cruise since it's safer than renting but I'm wondering if the Explorer offers gear storage/lockers or would that stuff have to be stored in my room?

You would keep it in your cabin.

My daughter usually brings her scuba gear with us, and she has never had a problem shoving it under the bed or in the closet.

Do you have a balcony cabin? She puts it out there to dry after a dive.

Yup, that's where it goes.

On our last cruise, there were notices in the cruise compass about NOT leaving stuff out on the balcony unattended. The cabin steward brought in a towel I left out on the balcony. The reason they state is "fire danger" should someone throw a something on fire overboard.
