got2gocruzn Posted May 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Our May 14th cruise has been changed from Cozumel to Grand Cayman. Somewhere i thought i read because of the difference in port charges between the two ports that we would have an on board credit. 'Did anyone else find this or i'm i dreamin' Thanks CoCo
poobears Posted May 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Some have OBC offers, others don't. Go look up the changed itinerary on the carnival web page and it will have a details link at the end of it. If you get OBC it will say there.
poobears Posted May 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Sorry I just looked, no OBC is being offered for yours. Maybe because GC is a popular port?
LHP Posted May 5, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Most of the time the $20 OBC is IF a port is eliminated completely. (not replaced) Since your port was replaced, there probably will not be an OBC involved.
dst Posted May 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 5, 2009 As LHP stated they are just replacing your port with another so there would be no OBC, I believe that Grand Cayman taxes are higher than Cozumel so be thankful Carnival is not asking for more money  You will enjoy Grand Cayman, its a lovely port
iEmpire Posted May 5, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Yes, not to "hi-jack" but on our cruise, we are set to receive $50 OBC per person. When and how do we get this? Is it just automatically applied to our SS Card?
crazy cajun Posted May 5, 2009 #7 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Any OBC you are to recieve should be applied to your S&S card.

Is it just automatically applied to our SS Card? It will be applied to your S&S card on the first day of the trip - that's a few drinks :)
