Scooters in Mazatlan?

Has anyone rented scooters in Mazatlan? If so, is this a good way to see the city and get around? We own scooters/motorcycles and are experienced drivers. I was just wondering if anyone could recommend this?

scooters are available right in the Mazatlan cruise terminal. We have bargained them down to about $40 for all day. They are small SMALL 50cc 4stroke weak, beat up, and uncomfortable. They have recently started renting golf carts. Much better! The Rhino below was $60 all day. Next time we rent the weaker model golf cart for $50 all day. Always check all safety features, like mirrors, tire pressure, muffler noise. We carry a can of "tire inflate" and a bike pump; as we have had flats before.

Who do you rent the golf carts and rhinos from in Mazatlan? Is there a website to make reservations on, or are they at the pier?

you rent the carts right at the cruise terminal, near the taxi cab pick-up area
