TMJBR Posted May 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2009 I've been on the CB twice and going on her again in August. For anyone who has been on her before and after the drydock, do you see a big difference? Where can I find some updated photos?
sun&sea Posted May 19, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2009 I have been on that ship both pre and post dry dock. Although I was on the sailing right after drydock, and much of it was not finished, I saw enough to know that it was a much nicer ship after drydock than before. The addition of the international cafe and vines is a nice touch. Here a few pictures of some of the updates. http://travel.webshots.com/album/569952563DjjmOq?vhost=travel There were no updates to the cabins except for the new TV's. TMJBR Posted May 19, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted May 19, 2009 Thanks. Is there a charge at the International Cafe?
sun&sea Posted May 19, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 19, 2009 Sometimes there is a charge for some things. But the sandwiches and salads at lunch time are free and are very good:). I am not up on the details about the charges...sorry. Janet
jtmalt Posted May 19, 2009 #5 Share Posted May 19, 2009 Thanks. Is there a charge at the International Cafe? During the day/afternoon the International Cafe offers a variety of donuts, cake slices, dessert tarts, light sandwiches, etc at no charge. They charge a nominal fee for Tuxedo Strawberries, chocolate fondue, and in the evening, tapas. The charge items seem very reasonable...I think the tapas is $3 for a three piece assortment, and the strawberries are about a buck each.
kendon Posted May 19, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 19, 2009 I noticed that there aren't stools at the coffee bar like the Crown and Ruby. I enjoyed sitting at the "bar" late afternoons and chatting with the barista and other passengers. Too bad.
