Just wanted to see if anyone has been to costa maya and has reviews of any independent tour operators.

I would like to know if it's just as easy to book a dive in Costa Maya from someone independently as through the cruise ship? If so, who and how....should i make arrangements before hand or can it be done at the pier?

I highly recommend Blue Ha in Mahahual for diving. I dove with them a couple months ago and had a great time. Tanya and Jono (owners) really provide a personal touch and had no problem taking care of my friends that were 1st time ocean divers. They work around the cruise schedule and make sure you get back in time.

 

I just emailed Tanya (dreamtimetanya@hotmail.com) and she set everything up from there.
