BlackJack2 Posted May 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2009 On the Zaandam in July and we travel into Glacier Bay. Is there a way to get my National Parks Passport Book stamped by the park ranger that is aboard the Zaandam?
geologygeek Posted May 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2009 Last year on the Volendam a couple of Rangers stamped passports in the Crow's Nest on Glacier Bay Day.
FloridaAdGuy Posted May 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2009 We were on the Zaandam last week. The rangers can stamp your passport on Glacier Bay Day up in the Crow's Nest while they're on board.
Krazy Kruizers Posted May 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2009 On all the various ships that we have been on for Alaska -- you can get a stamp in the Crow's Nest. They also have for sale books, postcards, etc.
tothetrail Posted June 2, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2009 For our September sailing on the Westerdam last year, I packed my National Parks Passport book. Unfortunately, the park rangers didn't have the stamp with them. They said "Sorry, due to a malfunction, we don't have the stamp." I was rather disappointed, as I was very much so looking forward to adding that stamp to my collection. We're pretty sure that the malfunction was that they forgot it.
