pinkaboo Posted June 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2009 Wondering if there are any live reviews from the triumph doing the Canada run/sail. Just wondering what were the waters like sailing from New York and how's the weather? Is it as foggy as it normally is this time of the year>? jimbri Posted June 9, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2009 I would love to hear about it too. We're going next month. Can't wait for the reviews.
Rare mizLORInj Posted June 9, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2009 Can't comment on the Triumph, but I can say that my very first cruise was the Victory to Halifax from NY and that began my love of cruising! I remember how clean the water looked once off Long Island and seeing a lone shark way out at sea. I don't remember the water being rough and it was very warm in July; don't recall any fog except in Halifax. ENJOY!!!

mgasparro1 Posted June 9, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2009 I am leaving Thursday on the Carnival Triumph..this is my second time on her going up to Canada...and my 4th time up to Canada (twice on Victory)..it has always been smooth sailing going there and back and we did have fog 3 out of 4 times..but it lifted as we got closer to land. I LOVE this cruise because it is short, sweet and inexpensive!! :-)
TonyinFla Posted June 9, 2009 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2009 We are leaving on this cruise next Monday the 15th, and we have no idea what to pack. We live in south west Florida and have always taken Carribean Cruises. I don't own many long pants. Anybody on the ship got suggestions.

I am not on the ship but, I would suggest capris, tennis shoes and socks (when my feet are cold everything feels cold) and sweaters or sweatshirts.
